The Transaction Coach plays a key role in guiding Kale agents—particularly new and developing agents—through the contract-to-close process. This role combines transaction management expertise, compliance oversight, and one-on-one coaching to ensure agents deliver smooth, professional, and legally compliant transactions for their clients.

Transaction Coaches are trusted mentors and compliance partners. They serve as the agent’s first point of contact for contract execution, negotiation strategy, documentation accuracy, and transaction timelines.

Key Responsibilities
Agent Support & Coaching

Provide hands-on guidance to assigned agents throughout active transactions.
Coach agents on best practices for communication, negotiation, and problem-solving during the contract period.
Help agents strengthen their understanding of contract forms, timelines, and brokerage procedures.
Conduct periodic check-ins with assigned coachees to review progress and address challenges.
Contract Review & Compliance

Review all contract documents for accuracy and compliance with Illinois License Law, MLS rules, and Kale policies.
Ensure proper use of buyer and listing agreements, disclosures, and amendments.
Communicate proactively with the Managing Broker team regarding any compliance concerns or potential risks.
Transaction Management

Track critical transaction milestones from acceptance to close (earnest money, inspections, appraisal, financing, and final walk-through).
Support agents in communicating with cooperating brokers, attorneys, lenders, and title companies.
Maintain detailed notes and documentation for each transaction in the company system (Dotloop/CRM).
Professional Development

Participate in monthly Coach meetings and continuing education workshops.
Share best practices, scripts, and resources to help agents grow in confidence and competence.
Collaborate with the Agent Development team to improve coaching resources and onboarding materials.

Qualifications
Active Illinois Real Estate Broker or Managing Broker license.
Minimum of 3 years of residential real estate experience with a consistent record of closed transactions.
Strong understanding of Illinois contracts, MLS rules, and transaction procedures.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Tech proficiency in Dotloop, MLS, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
Previous experience in coaching, mentoring, or training agents preferred.

Compensation
Paid per closed transaction at a rate of 1% of the Gross Sale Price (subject to program caps).
Coaches are independent contractors and may continue to actively sell real estate.
Additional performance-based opportunities may be available for high-performing coaches.
